Then all of a sudden I can hear her whispering in my ear...don't be so hard on yourself. You did what you needed to do for your little family. You did what any good MOTHER would do for her children's well being. You did exactly what you needed to do, and I'm so PROUD of yourself. Then I smile and almost forgive myself...ALMOST.
Those who are frequent readers will know that this LO is about my grandmama, and how I need to forgive myself for spending the last years of her life when she needed me the most a thousand miles away and a sea a many states away. Sigh!
I used August Smaller kit from Apron Strings for this LO and this one below which is of my mom and my aunt.

what a great layout about forgiveness. i am all choked up! thanks for doing our prompt. it's funny you scrapped that b/c i struggle with going to see my grandma and she doesn't know who i am so i find myself making excuses not to go. even though she is still here i miss her terribly.

I am so glad you decided to participate in the Challenge with us at Forward Progress!!! The journaling is so touching.....so hearfelt...I know we all have been to a place of If Just I Would Have!!! The LO is stunning!!!! Hope to see you back for the next one!!! I just adore the other Lo's also!!!! You have some real talent going on there!!! Wishing you a weekend filled with smiles :)
Beautiful LO's. The one that touched my heart was the one about your grandmama. I made a LO about my grandmother as well, I was too occupied with my own life to understand how lonely she felt without having me around. The guilt I have been feeling since she passed away has been enormous, something I have to live with every day. Thank you so much for playing along with us over at Forward Progress.
