August kit for Apron Strings and a challenge....

So Lori & Kathy needed a little help with challenges at our group....and I offered to help. I've been member of the group since 2005 and there are amazing. Every year is being more and more at home. I will be posting challenges every Monday, all types of challenges: recipes, sketches, questions, color combos, journaling prompts, etc.....

Since yesterday was National Friendship Day. To all my friends I want you to know that I appreciate your friendship and I love you with all my heart. Anyways, I posted a challenge to jump start the group to do a LO or a card in honor to a very good friend. This is my LO and a little card as a bonus too.

I met Beatriz back when I was in 5th grade and we became best friends almost instantly. We were inseparable until 9th grade. We went to school together until 8th grade and we went separate ways since then. Our friendship survived another year and then we lost contact completely. Not sure what happened or how but we did. Recently we reunited again, and oh boy what a Joy. I've never ever had a friend like her since then....she's in Puerto Rico but this time we sure are staying in touch. Here's the card:
