Five on Friday times two...

So I scrapped yesterday for a little while. I did the five on friday over at Apron Strings. The challenge was to use:
  • 1 sheet of patterned paper with swirls
  • 1 sheet of patterned paper with stripes
  • 1 sheet of cardstock
  • 1 alphabet set
  • 1 lenght of ribbon
This was my end result. In case you are wondering where is my ribbon??? :-) Is that flower on the lower right corner. I made a flower out of the ribbon. Out of the whole LO that's what took me the longest, hehe. That's a picture of me and my bio mother.

Then last Friday I played along but was unable to post a picture since I didn't have my camera, so this is what I did last Friday.

The challenge was:

  • 1 sheet of patterned paper with stripes
  • 1 sheet of patterned paper with circles
  • 1 set of brackets
  • 1 set of alphabets
  • 1 set of brads

Believe it or not these are really challenging to me because I have to limit myself to only those items, and I'm kinda of a lot of embellies type of girl. Now, I have to say that I'm loving the simplicity of these LO's and specially the time it takes me to make 'em. None of these LO's took me more than half an hour to make. Isn't that lovely?

I also worked on next week challenge, but obviously I won't share until Monday. :-)

We are having a very rainy weekend, so wherever you are I hope there's more sunshine than here in New York. Enjoy your weekend and many blessings.
