My talented friend from my kit club Apron Strings have tagged me....so I decided to give this fun game a try. Here it goes
The rules of the game: Each player answers the questions themselves. Ten years ago....I was fresh out of high school on my first year of college in Business Administration. Moved 2 hours from my family to go to college, was working at a movie theater (gosh I loved those free tickets), and was enjoying every single minute of college life.
Five things on today's "to do list"
1. Come up with a time management plan - there's just not enough hours in a day :-)
2. Scrap, scrap, scrap (I have to complete Debbie's class, Valerie's and Jana's class, AS challenges, and Jessica Sprague digital course)
3. Get to do some work instead of blogging at work, :-P
4. Enjoy life more often
5. Make more friends.
I enjoy....every minute I spend with my family. When it comes to goodies, I enjoy Kisses (the chocolate) and Dove milk chocolate. I also enjoy my AS kits.
I have lived.....most of my life back until 2004 in Puerto Rico, now I live in New York (what a difference, lol)

Hello family and friends!
Hello everybody, it's time for me to share some LO's so you can see how big the kids are getting. I'm taking the second digital class at jessicasprague.com - Now We Are Rockin' and I'm learning new techniques in Photoshop Elements - it's very cool. Here are some LO's that I've made recently; although I have to admit that my time for scrapping has been very limited. But I have to find a little more time because it helps me keep my sanity, LOL.
Well, that's it for today. I'm going to see if I get a little scrapping done before it's time to make some dinner. Ciao!
The journaling reads: There’s not a single person yet, that have said that you don’t look like your father. All I hear from everybody is Oh, my gosh, he’s David’s face. I mean are they for real? Ok, maybe you do look like your father a bit…or maybe a lot. But when all these people come to me and say the inevitable….all I do is look at you and smile. Want to know why? Look at those eyes of yours baby boy...there are momma's eyes. And that makes me so happy. You may have the nose, the smile, the body of your father, but you have my eyes...which are the window to the soul...to your soul. And sweetheart, for whomever that does not believe me; I have this picture to prove it. Boy, am I lucky?
The journaling on this one reads: There is no love like the love of a mother for a child. I am so grateful for the gift of you. Yes, you are a gift from God sent to me to care for, to love, to watch grow, and to guide you.
I am so thankful that God chose me to be your mother. He could’ve easily chosen someone else, but he chose me. Want to know why, baby girl? Because we were destined to be together. Because my heart belonged to you even before you were born.
If only you knew how much I love you. But one day you will understand...that will be the day that you become a MOTHER.

Some food for your soul!
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,
when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the
mayonnaise jar and the 2 glasses of wine...
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had
some items in front of him. When the class began,
wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They
agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and
poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The
pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They
agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it
into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students
responded with a unanimous ’yes.'
The professor then produced two glasses of wine from
under the table and poured the entire contents into the
jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
Now, said the professor, as the laughter subsided, 'I want
you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf
balls are the important things; your family, your children,
your health, your friends, and your favorite passions;
things that if everything else was lost and only they
remained, your life would still be full.'
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job,
your house, and your car. The sand is everything else;
the small stuff.
If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'There
is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and
energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the
things that are important to you.'
Pay attention to the things that are critical to your
happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get
medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play
another 18. Does one more run down the ski slope?
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the
disposal. Take care of the golf balls first; the things that
really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what
the wine represented.
The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked. It just goes to
show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of glasses of wine with a
friend.'

Where have I been?
Ok, so I haven't posted here since April and that makes me sad. I'm really not having the time to accomplish all the things that I want to accomplish, and that makes me feels frustrated sometimes. I'm trying as best as possible to get everything done and still savor every moment that passes by.
Well, let me see where I start. I'm working a lot, a lot, a lot. I'm working from Monday thru Thursday with one attorney at the office from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Then I'm working from home for another attorney during the week and weekends, and I'm also doing a little something on the side with a company with the marketing department from home as well. Do I have time to breathe?
I'm currently taking Debbie's Page Parts challenges class. Debbie is amazing, awesome, she's and incredible teacher and I can't tell you how many things I've learned about this precious hobby by taking her classes. You should go check them out at www.debbiehodge.com. It's a very friendly community and she is awesome. Did I say that already? ;-)
I'm also taking a new class from Valerie Salmon and Jana Wilson called Got Sketch 101. I just love Valerie's sketches and although I don't have time I had to try it. Class started yesterday but you can still sign up, if you are interested check it out at http://gotsketch101.ning.com/.
And lastly, I enrolled for another digi class with Jessica Sprague...Now we are Rocking digi class. I'm liking digi a lot. Not that I will leave paper scrapping, but I'm really enjoying digi and it's less messy. I can do it from any room of the house and there's no mess afterwards or no putting stuff away, etc. That's what I like the most. :-) That haven't started yet, I think it starts June 16 if I'm not mistaken. You can check that out at www.jessicasprague.com. She also spruced up her website, it's very neat now.
On another note, there's a heat wave here in NY. Not good at all. The heat is unbearable. You can't be outside unless you are in the pool. The pools are not open here yet, but I took the kids to the beach on Sunday and I got a sunburn. Ouch, it hurts everywhere. Mind you, I was on the shade the majority of the time.
Oh, wait, Thursday is my daughter's kindergarten graduation. I'm so full of mixed emotions. I'm happy because she's becoming such a sweet and smart girl....oh but gosh, she's growing up so fast. Just the other day, back in 2002 she was my tiny little precious baby....now she's not so tiny, and although she will always be my precious little baby, she is graduating from kindergarten. And how much have I missed? They just grow up so fast....if only I could stop time. Sigh!!!!
I enrolled her on ballet, her first class was last Friday and she loved it. For me it was hard to believe that an almost 60 year old lady (yeah, that's how old her teacher must be) still has the energy to teach ballet, tap, gymnastics. I mean I wish I still have that energy when I reach that age...but I still have a long way to go, haha. She loves it, and I'm happy that she does.
Ok, enough of this babble. I will post pictures later of some layouts that I've done and I will also post a picture of a cute project that I did for Valerie's class to keep my sketches organized. Thanks for stopping by.
