Arghh...computers at time....

can be very annoying. I made Christmas mini album of 2007 and the Halloween mini book that I got from Valerie and after I spent almost 45 minutes fixing and stitching the LO's together so I didn't have hundreds of pictures here, Photoshop or my computer (who knows) didn't save on the proper format so I couldn't upload the pictures. I will try to do so tonight and figure it out...if not I'll post each page separately so you can see what I was up to this past weekend.

On Saturday it felt so good because I didn't do anything except scrap....what a joy that is. On Sunday I went to the American Girl store here in NY to get a few stuff for my daughter's birthday; oh gosh I felt like a little girl myself. It's a whole separate world...built of beautiful dolls and lots of imagination. I got a few stuff for my daughter and so did my Mom. She also got her one of the big dolls for Christmas. Their stuff is somewhat expensive, but is the only dolls that my daughter plays with, so I really don't mind. Before I got her the AG babies (she has two babies, one is the twin girl), she had so many dolls and she wouldn't even look at them. The minute I got her one AG she started playing with her and she loves her so much, so I figured why not spoiled her with those cute stuff...at least she plays with them.

On another note, my son is sick. It's so hard for me to see my kids sick and not be able to do much about it. He gets cranky at times, but also very quiet and doesn't eat much. If he continues like that I'm going to have to take him to the doctor on Friday. Lets pray for him to get better.

Lets also pray for one of my friends. We graduated from 8th grade together and haven't seen each other since, but we keep phone contact. Like 3 weeks ago we were talking on the phone and everything was fine, he just recently got married, he has two beautiful kids from a previous marriage, he was so happy. That same day at night I get a message that his father was in the hospital to please pray for him because he was in a coma. He came back from the coma, but his situation got worse and worse. While in the hospital he suffered two heart attacks and had some complications (I'm still not aware of what exactly happened); two days ago he passed away. A death no matter what kind of death it is, I'm sure is painful but when someone is very sick you sort of expect it or consider it a possibility....but when is something that happens out of the blue is like so shocking and harder to swallow...I think. Anyway, I'm praying for him and his family to give them strenght.

That's it for now. I will post tonight the Christmas album and a few pages of Valerie's mini book. I won't post all of it because she has the download available for sale, but if you like what you see, you can find some info here.

Happy Wednesday,

Bessie
