Epiphany

Epiphany - a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience. That is what happened to me today. Today I realized how much my kids love each other...and that is such a wonderful feeling. My son was given a time-out by his dad because of something he did, my daughter just came to me with the saddest look in her face and said to me: Mommy, Shawn is punished and I don't want him to be punished. It really melt my heart - to know that my daughter was actually sad and somewhat broken hearted because her little brother got into trouble. I just pray to GOD that the love that they have for each other grow stronger and stronger every day. That they look after each other and take care of each - that is definitely a peace of mind, knowing that they will always take care of each other and care about each other.

Here are some pictures that reminds me of that special bond:

Shawn doesn't mind playing with dolls for his sister, and Yarelis doesn't mind playing with cars either.

Below are pictures of them watching noggin - that seems to be their favorite channel now.

And here they are just laughing and laughing at what? I don't know, but their laugh is definitely music to my ears :-) What a blessing!

On another note, I had my interview yesterday and I guess it went well but it's to far for me, I loved the offices and everything, but I don't want to be getting home at 7 PM to then start doing everything that MOTHERS do once they get home from a long day at work, etc., etc.

I will keep looking but after I return from CA - yes, I'm going to visit my MIL and will be in CA for a week - I'm so excited, I can't wait for March to get here.

I'm still working on Debbie's class and is amazing, I love it, here are the LO's that I've done so far.

In That's life the journaling reads: Our life started back in 1999. Here we are almost 9 years later with two kids and a million memories. When we started it was obviously JUST US...in a blink of an eye (or so it feels) we became three. What a blessing! And then we were four. Wow, would we be able to handle this? One day we were JUST US and then we were ALL OF US. Oh, well, that's LIFE...and let me tell you, I wouldn't change it for a thing and I'm glad that it's MY LIFE.

Journaling on the LO above reads: My favorite things at age 1: sleep, music, baths, food, lots of food. At age 2: Diego, Spongebob, Spiderman, music, baths, playtime with your sister, Dora, cereal (all kinds), toys, and food, lots of food. You are always eating, always, you really do love FOOD. As you can see he has food in his mouth in every single photo of this LO.

The journaling in this one reads: Baby girl, these photos were taken when you were one year old. You are holding your most precious gift...MINNIE. The same Minnie you hold on tight all the nights now that you are five. The same Minnie that conforts you when you are sad, feeling sick, or taking a nap. We've tried many times to replace her with a new one, but in your mind and in your heart that is not happening. You just wont let go.

Then on the little notes below the picture on the right hand side it says: Minnie your best friend and you enjoying a nap. By the way, you look and sleep just like your father, my baby girl, I love you.

Thanks for looking!
